Brad and Dionne have lived in Didsbury, AB for 10+ years along with their two children Kaleb and Reese who were both born in Didsbury. Both Brad and Dionne grew up in small towns in Central Alberta, and found that Didsbury was the perfect place to call home.
Owning their own pharmacy was a dream for the both of them dating back to school, the opportunity to purchase the Value Drug Mart in 2006 from Bill and Margo Ward presented itself and they found that owning the pharmacy was a natural fit for them. Not only was it the business that brought them here, it was the quaintness of the town. Brad had a work contract to fulfil in Red Deer during the store purchase and during this time, Margo & Bill filled in for him during the transition.
Growing up in a small town, Brad remembers his local pharmacy offering a bit of everything and in turn, our Didsbury Value Drug Mart models that. Brad & Dionne have carved out the traditional niche, it is a pharmacy first, however, you can also get your everyday essentials there as well including a great selection of gift wear and household needs.
Brad & Dionne are very involved with minor hockey and are also billets to a few of the Olds Grizzlies and have been doing so for years. It brings very much a sense of community to their family. Brad also serves on the board of the rosebud health foundation and is currently the Chair, he finds it very rewarding and it establishes themselves in the business community.
